Environmental Impact

Solarface PV was created with an environmental motive. We love this planet! Our company serves on the front lines taking action against climate change. Multiple credited sources of scientific evidence show that our climate system is warming. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concluded that "It is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century." Solarface PV is proud to provide service to all who wish to take a stand on climate change and make a positive impact as energy consumers.

For some homes, using solar power as a source of electricity is on the same scale as planting nearly 2,500 trees.

Environmental Impact

Understanding how solar power benefits the environment is really quite simple. Every day Earth receives tremendous amounts of energy from the sun. In fact, the sun provides the Earth more energy in one hour than the entire population uses in one year! Photovoltaic systems captures this energy with practically no impact on our environment. Unlike our traditional electricity that we get from coal, oil and natural gas power plants that generate tons of carbon dioxide into our atmosphere.

CO2 is a greenhouse gas that is building up inside of our atmosphere causing the temperature to increase. This warming effect is causing polar ice to melt, oceans to swell and rise, and precipitation to increase and intensify.

This translates into diminishing animal populations and extinction, the loss of unique habitats and ecosystems, and

stronger weather impacts including hurricanes, floods, droughts and wild fires.

Environmental Organizations

Below is a list of environmental organizations that are helping to save our planet. You can click the name of the organization to link directly to their website. It is up to us as individuals to take action to preserve our planet for future generations. The list below represents individuals joining together to achieve a sustainable future for all.

Who better to further explain climate change then Bill Nye, the science guy.
